As part of your listing, Maritime prepares an thorough evaluation of your vessel and the current market conditions. We will be 100% objective in the evaluation of your yacht and will always be upfront about its value and marketability. We will never be misleading just to get your listing.
At Maritime, we are not only experts in the boating world, but we also have extensive experience closing transactions in the corporate, legal and business environment which provides us with a unique perspective when it comes to bringing buyers and sellers together to negotiate and close a transaction. This gives us a “leg up” in completing transactions through closing.
Depending on our evaluation, we may suggest that you obtain a a pre-sale Survey for your yacht. It is important to identify any issues with your yacht so they may be addressed upfront. This is better practice than being discovered later in the process by a potential buyer. If you choose to perform a survey, we will advise of its availability in the marketing campaign. If you include a pre-sale survey, it will increase the odds and timing of a sale.
